MagnaTile™ is an A1 non-combustible ceiling tile tested in accordance with EN 1182 & EN 1716 available in either 9mm or 12mm and with square or beveled edges.

The tiles are single-sided and have a smooth finish suitable for priming and painting or if a non-decorative finish is desired the tiles may be left untreated.

  • MagnaTile™ can be mechanically fixed to either timber or steel or laid into an existing ceiling grid system.
  • MagnaTile™ is highly moisture resistant and can be used in semi-external applications. It has extensive testing to EN 12467 and has achieved catergory ‘A’ performance as materials intended for applications where they may be subjected to heat, high moisture and severe frost.

Fixings

Where mechanical fixing method is required use jackpoint drylining screws at nominal 200mm centres.

Tiles should be supported around their perimeter (all 4 edges).

Fixings should be a minimum of 15mm from board edges and no nearer than 40mm from corners.
