Refurbishment
of flats to meet fire regulations
 New
build and renovations alike must comply with any new regulations.
As a supplier of high performance products, Euroform, like
many other suppliers must ensure that products supplied meet
with these regulations. New regulations in a way help the
industry move forward as products that may not have been used
before are now sought after because of their high acoustic
performance or high fire resistance, without these products
many contractors and builders alike would have difficulty
upgrading existing properties.
A new
addition to the Euroform range is Versafire. Versafire is
a fantastic product brought in to combat problems with fire
hazards. Most recently it was used to help refurb an apartment
block in Liverpool that required a face-lift and needed to
meet new fire regulations. Whilst being an A1Non-Combustible board achieving up to a 4 hour fire test,
Versafire is also fully external and weather resistant. It
is white in colour and smooth to the touch it can be used
within partiions, ceilings, cladding and more recently a four
hour steel faced high impact lining material.
