Versalayer R10 is an acoustic insulation designed to absorb and damp acoustic vibrations through floors. Versalayer R10 is manufactured from recycled rubber, it is 10mm thick and supplied in 1mtr wide x 5mtr long rolls.

Versalayer® is an acoustic insulation designed to absorb and damp acoustic vibrations through floors. A recycled rubber sound absorbing mat, engineered to reduce impact noise through all types of separating floor. Independently tested, this sound insulation has been proved to comply with the latest Building Regulation requirements as detailed in the Approved Document E. This soundproofing mat is also ideal for upgrading the floors in existing flats, homes and a wide variety of other domestic uses.

To comply with the requirements of the Approved Document E 2003, Versalayer sound insulated separating floors have been tested in accordance with BSEN ISO 717-1997 and BSEN ISO 717:1997. Substituting the 25mm mineral wool floating layer normally specified with a more stable and efficient recycled rubber resilient layer.

Storage
Unaffected by damp but recommend keep dry and store under cover.

Fire Rating
The construction of floors using Versalayer resilient insulation provides a minimum of 1 hour fire protection from below. Test certificates, prices and conditions of sale are all available upon request.

Health & Safety
There are no known health & safety hazards associated with the handling and installation of Versalayer products.
