Seamless Jointing:
Panels can be used in a number of ways to create seamless jointing using the Versaliner JPM Surface Filler, this filler has been specially developed for fast finishing to joint areas. The filler is dry within 40 minutes but has to be left 24 hours before painting or papering.
Close butt panels and using the special Versaliner JPM filler spread a thin layer over an area maximum 250mm width over joint area using no tape and sand to finish - not suitable for paint finishes but suitable for wallpaper finishes.

Can also be used with a gap of 2/3mm, gap should be filled with an area 125mm each side of the joint also having filler applied. Then sand to give smooth finish that is then suitable for painting/wallpapering.

Working with Versaliner™ JPM Surface Filler

The substrate must be dry, clean and free from separating agents. Versaliner™ JPM Surface Filler is dispersed in clean water, allowed to stand and stirred with a stick to become lump free. For possible fine filling, a thinner consistency is required. Versaliner™ JPM is primed within the joint area and if necessary after stiffening of the filler finely filled. If required it can be sanded after drying. In order to obtain particularly smooth surfaces, the filler after hardening can be wetted with a brush or sponge and the surface again finely filled.

Covering

With all normal textured wallpapers. Follow the advice in the Versaliner™ JPM system technical manual regarding other coverings.

Note in Particular

Use quickly after mixing. Stiff material can no longer be used. If in doubt ask for advice concerning use, substrate or application possibilities. Do not mix with any foreign substances. In all other respects the stipulations of DIN 18550 apply.
