Typical Examples Of Fire Protection Using Cement Bonded Particleboard
Timber Floors - 30 to 60 Minutes Fire Resistance Lay In A Grid
1.
Board
6mm standard C.P.Board with a vynal face using 1200mm
x 600mm or 600mm x 600mm panels (clipped in position).
2.
Flooring
Minimum 19mm tongue & groove C.P.Board or 18mm Chipboard.
3.
Timber Joists
Minimum 225mm x 38mm at 610mm centres.
4.
Insulation
50mm x 33kg/m3 mineral fibre cut and fixed tight between
joists and self supported on 50mm nails.
5. Hangers fixed to joists at maximum 600mm centres at least 100mm away from the bottom of joist with 30mm nails.
6. Ceiling grid exposed TEE system (Fire Rated) suspended at 610mm centres.
