XFOIL BROCHURE

The Xfoil™ Range seals your roof against climactic elements like wind and damp while at the same time retaining ventilation. Using reflective technology Xfoil™ is clean, does not cause allergies, does not cause dust and contains no toxic products.

How Does Xfoil™ Work?
The Xfoil™ Range is constructed from numerous layers of high strength polyester, reinforced metallised polyester film and also polyester wadding. Xfoil™ offers you a sustainable product that insulates your roof and helps with acoustic performances.

Xfoil™ As A Vapour Barrier
Xfoil™ has been tested to BS EN 12086: 1997, Determination of Water Vapour Transmission Properties. The test confirmed an extremely high vapour resistance. Xfoil™ is one of the few insulating materials that is not affected by humidity and consequently its insulating values remain unchanged from the bone-dry state to very high humidity conditions. When installing Xfoil™, it acts as an insulant and vapour control layer in one.

When the joints of Xfoil™ where tested to Moat 27, Test 5.2.1: Test resistance to leakage at joints. Air pressure at 10KPa maintained on a taped 25mm lap joint for a 30 minute duration. No leakage observed on all three samples.
